Undergraduate Program of Business Law

Digital Business Law

The Business Law Study Program is a flagship, integrated program designed as a strategic response to the dynamic and complex global business environment, particularly in the context of digital transformation. The Business Law Study Program is developed with an integrative approach that fully integrates three comparative pillars: Legal Studies, Business Dynamics, and Information Technology. This study program is designed to produce graduates who excel and adapt nationally in the development of technology-based business law (Digital Business Law). The Business Law study program is committed to producing professional human resources with integrity and global competitiveness in both the workplace and the business world.

The Business Law study program’s primary focus is on deepening knowledge related to Digital Business Law. Students will be equipped with a deeper mastery and understanding of legal aspects within the cyber ecosystem to mitigate contemporary legal issues in the digital economy era. International Business Law strengthens students’ competitiveness in navigating the complexities of markets and laws across jurisdictions. This includes mastery of international trade law, foreign investment, cross-border business dispute resolution mechanisms, international procurement law, money laundering law in international transactions, and multinational corporate law.

In addition to mastering general legal knowledge, this study program also provides a focused scope of study on information technology and electronic transaction regulations, digital contract design (smart contracts), legal compliance for technology corporations, digital marketing law, artificial intelligence (AI) regulations, digital business dispute resolution, and personal data protection in electronic systems.

The learning process employs a student-centered learning approach that emphasizes strengthening practical competencies through project-based learning methods, analysis of real-life business law case studies, simulations of electronic contract drafting (legal drafting), and the implementation of internship programs and business law clinics in technology-based industries. This student-centered learning approach aims to produce graduates with competencies in digital law and international business law, as well as equipping them with technology-based legal entrepreneurship (technopreneurship) skills to create independent and adaptive legal service innovations (legal-tech).
